For children your daughters age, Magic Kingdom is the logic choice with many features, however, I think she might enjoy the performances - Lion King, Finding Nemo, and Pocahontas at Animal Kingdom. The Kilimanjaro Safari is good for any age and the Boneyard is a great place to let her run around. If your daughter is a fan of Playhouse Disney, then you should consider Disney's Hollywood Studios -- my little travelers have always enjoyed the Playhouse Disney show as well as The Little Mermaid, Beauty and the Beast, The Muppet's 3-D (if she gets scared, take the glasses off her) and another really fun place to run around would be Honey, I Shrunk the Kids Movie Set. As far as tickets, you should check with everyone in your party -- I have always liked the option to "park-hop" especially with a guest your daughter's age, you can visit one park in the morning and another in the afternoon -- however, if your party decides to concentrate this trip on Magic Kingdom and Epcot theme parks, then I might get the one park ticket. For a character meal, again it would depend on which characters are your daughter's favorites and select that meal. I polled my travelers about their favorite character meal -- and got a different answer from each -- but our favorites are Chef Mickey's - Mickey and the gang; The Crystal Palace - Winnie the Pooh and pals (need park ticket for admittance to Magic Kingdom); Donald's Safari Breakfast - Donald, Pluto and Chip & Dale (need park ticket for admission to Animal Kingdom). Have a wonderful time -- I highly recommend breaks for naps, etc. as everyone will enjoy themselves more.

Vicki — Each of the theme parks have attractions for all age groups. Any suggestions for Animal Kingdom? Should we skip MGM for lack of enough to do? Would you suggest a park hopper or regular ticket being that we'll probably have to go back to hotel(close by but need to drive) for nap/lunch? We'll be spending 5 days at Disney, one of those days will be at Sea World. Any particular character breakfast suggestions? Thanks for any input! -vicki

We’re taking my 16 month old daughter next week with her grandparents. Any suggestions for Animal Kingdom?
