DisneyFamily.com – A Website for Parents

disneyfamily.jpgDisney recently launched a website at DisneyFamily.com that provides information to help parents raise their families.  The site provides expert advice and information as well as a place for parents to network, ask questions and share stories.  Main topics include food, parenting, entertainment, education, travel, shopping and coupons.  The site also includes links to a variety of family-oriented blogs.  Most important, site registration is free.

I just found this site, so I thought I would share it.  Currently, the site is holding a sweepstakes for a family trip to California as well as other contests and promotions.  I’m sure DisneyFamily.com will become very popular.  It looks like it provides a wealth of helpful information for parents.

My daughter saw an article about a “fake Supper Nanny” approach to get kids to clean their room. Can you tell me where I can get a copy of this article, or in which issue of Family Fun it was in?

I watched some shows with my granddaughter last weekend in Canada on your disney Family channel and was appalled by the theme of students throwing tomatoes at a school principle and getting him to change his mind in avery aggresive badly behaved way. I feel that this was as bad an example as could have been shown. Also all the white people are clownish and play dumb characters, very bumbling.
Do you promote integration by showing one group as inferior?
I would have thought your show would teach respect for all. I am horrified by the examples in you show who moniters your content?

I can’t get into the Disneyfamily site at all. I get an error saying something is wrong with the site it self. How do you get connected.

    Angela -

I did not have any trouble getting on the site. Hopefully, whatever trouble you were having has resolved itself.
