11 Disney Hotels Certified Green
The Florida Department of Environmental Protection includes 11 Disney-owned hotels on Walt Disney World property in its list of Florida Green Lodges. To be given this recognition, a hotel has to meet specific standards related to water conservation, energy efficiency, recycling, making bulk purchases, purchasing recycled materials, using green cleaners and using high efficiency air filters.
The 11 Walt Disney World hotels named as Florida Green Lodges are:
- Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge
- Disney’s Boardwalk Inn
- Disney’s Caribbean Beach Resort
- Disney’s Contemporary Resort
- Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort
- Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground
- Disney’s Old Key West Resort
- Disney’s Pop Century Resort
- Disney’s Port Orleans Resort
- Disney’s Saratoga Spring Resort & Spa
- Disney’s Wilderness Lodge
