International Disney Annual Passes and a 12th Disney Theme Park Discussions
The most recent meeting of Disney shareholders brought up two interesting topics according to the Orlando Sentinel’s Tourism Central Florida blog:
- An International Disney Theme Park Annual Pass: When a shareholder asked if this is something Disney would consider and a Disney Vacation Club member agreed this would be great for DVC members (who should get a special discount), Disney CEO Bob Iger said it sounded like a great idea. Perhaps an international Disney theme park annual pass will be coming soon. It does sound like a fantastic idea for avid Disney fans and DVC members.
- A 12th Disney Theme Park: Disney CEO Bob Iger said the company is actively looking for a location for the 12th Disney theme park, but another theme park will not be built in Southern California. Recent rumors have spread across news organizations and the internet that both Shanghai, China and Sydney, Australia are potential locations for the next Disney theme park.
These are both exciting potential projects for Disney. I can’t wait to see how they develop!
