T-Rex Restaurant Construction Photos from Walt Disney World
Last year, I wrote about the new T-Rex Restaurant that is being built in between Downtown Disney and Pleasure Island at Walt Disney World. Today, I have a new construction photo that shows you the progress of the building as well as the promotional sign stating the new restaurant will open in the Fall 2008.

If you didn’t read my original post about the T-Rex Restaurant, definitely check it out. This restaurant sounds incredible, and I can’t wait until it opens!

Landry’s Restaurants also owns the Yak and Yeti restaurant in Animal Kingdom. Sounds like they’ve got a nice thing going with Disney.

How do we get restervations to T-Rex Restaurant
Michele, the T-Rex Restaurant is not open yet, but when it does open in October 2008, you should be able to make reservations through the Disney Dining phone number – 407-WDW-DINE.
Please tell me when you all will be hiring for the t-rex rest. in downtown disney?? I am very interested in working for them and PLEASE tell me how I go about applying?? THANK YOU!! Anna ROYCE..
I was told by the owner of the restaurant that they will not accept reservations. Like Rainforest Cafe. To Susan Gunelius, do you work for Disney? Where did you hear this about Disney dining? I am going this weekend and would love to get one. Please advise. Thanks!
According to Landry’s (the owner of T-Rex), reservations will not be taken for the new T-Rex restaurant in Downtown Disney until 2009. It will be walk-ins only until that time. There is no definitive word yet if Disney Dining agents will be able to book the T-Rex restaurant when it opens for reservations or not. This is the most recent news I have heard, although it runs counter to Disney’s original press release announcing the restaurant which stated reservations can be made by calling 407-WDW-DINE.
