Tim Burton to Direct New Alice in Wonderland Movie
Get ready for an Alice in Wonderland push over the next few years at Disney theme parks around the world. Tim Burton will direct a new Alice in Wonderland movie starring Australian actress Mia Wasikowska, which will begin filming in November 2008 and is due to be released in 2010.
According to Scifi.com, the Tim Burton version of Alice in Wonderland, “will be shot with live-action and performance capture footage and presented in Disney Digital 3D.”
I’m sure Tim Burton’s Alice in Wonderland will be interesting! What do you think? More importantly, I wonder what Disney will do at the theme parks to correspond with the movie release and buzz.
