Walt Disney Parks and Resorts recently launched the Disney Parks Channel on YouTube.  To hype the new Disney Channel on YouTube, Disney is having a contest!  The My Favorite Disney Parks Memory Contest will reward one lucky winner with a Disney dream vacation that will include a night in the Disneyland Dream Suite!

Here’s a quick overview of how the contest works:

1. Submit your video of your favorite Disney parks memory by August 5, 2008.
2. Disney judges will select 10 finalists by August 12, 2008.
3. Between August 13, 2008 – September 9, 2008, YouTube visitors can vote on their favorite video.
4. The Grand Prize Winner will be announced on or about September 20, 2008.

Be sure to visit the Disney Parks Channel on YouTube to read all the details and rules of the My Favorite Disney Parks Memory Contest.  There are several restrictions related to the type of video you can submit and what they video has to contain to be part of the contest (for example, videos must be under 1 minute).

And here’s an overview of the prizes the winner will receive for a family of four:

1. A trip to the Disneyland Resort
2. One night’s stay in the Disneyland Dream Suite
3. Airfare
4. 2-day Theme park passes
5. Ground transportation

The 10 Finalists won’t be forgotten.  Each finalist will receive an Annual Pass tot he Disney Park of their choice.
