As of January 2009, Disney will discontinue the character dinner held nightly at the Liberty Tree Tavern in Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom. Currently, there are no plans to modify the pricing of the dinner experience at Liberty Tree Tavern nor are there plans to replace Goofy’s Liberate Your Appetite Character Dinner at Liberty Tree Tavern, which is a popular spot for families who want to dine with traditional Disney characters at the Magic Kingdom, including Minnie Mouse, Goofy, Pluto, Chip and Dale.

It’s going to cost an extra $4 per ticket to get into the theme parks at Walt Disney World starting today! Anyone over 10 years of age will have to cough up $75 for a one-day, one-park ticket (up 5.6% from $71), and a ticket for a child between the ages of 3-9 will cost $63 for one-day, one-park (up 5% from $60).
Prices have also gone up for the Magic Your Way ticket options, the Park Hopper option, and Florida resident tickets.
