Late last week, Disney announced it’s closing the nightclubs located in Walt Disney World’s Pleasure Island. Six clubs in total will close on September 27, 2008 including Mannequins, 8Trax, BET, the Adventurers Club, Motion, and the Comedy Warehouse.

Last week, President Bush signed a bill that includes $45 million to develop a high-speed levitating train that will run between Disneyland and Las Vegas. A one-way trip would take less than two hours at speeds up to 300 mph.

Disney is testing out a new technology where wait times for park attractions will be sent to park guests who have BlueTooth enabled cell phones. Guests will simply have to activate the functionality on their cell phones to get the latest wait times.

That’s the rumor according to Al Lutz at MiceAge - the Main Street Electrical Parade will be returning to Disneyland in 2009 after spending several years at Disney’s California Adventure.
