Mother’s Day Brunch at Epcot – Review in Pictures, Part 2

As promised yesterday, here is Part 2 of my Mother’s Day Brunch at Epcot Review in Pictures.  If you missed Part 1, you can follow the link to see those photos: Mother’s Day Brunch at Epcot – Review in Pictures, Part 1.
Today’s pictures will show you some of the great areas throughout the dining room where people could pose for pictures.  To stay with the royal theme of the Mother’s Day brunch, the decorations featured scenes and items from Disney Princess movies.
First up, Cinderella’s dress.

But Cinderella’s dress wasn’t all that display was made of.  It also included a beautiful staircase …read more

Each year, a special Mother’s Day brunch is held at Epcot in Walt Disney World.  It’s a pricey but beautiful event.  I went to the Epcot Mother’s Day brunch on Sunday and thought I’d share a review in pictures with you.

Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival in Pictures – Part 2

Yesterday, I posted part 1 of Epcot’s 2008 International Flower and Garden Festival at Walt Disney World in pictures. Today, I’ll follow up with some more of the sights from this year’s event.

Epcot’s Flower and Garden Festival in Pictures

I was at Epcot for a few hours yesterday evening and snapped some pictures of the topiaries at the 2008 International Flower and Garden Festival.

The theme this year is Fun in the Sun. Beach music plays around the park and the topiaries and decorations are all made with that theme in mind.

Reader Mailbag: Epcot for Adults at a Glance

Today, I received a comment from a reader named Charlotte who is from the U.K. and will be visiting Epcot with her husband-to-be. They are in their mid-twenties and will be traveling to Epcot without children. They don’t enjoy rollercoasters or thrill rides, so their question is, “What is there to do at Epcot?”
With that background in mind, here is my “Epcot for Adults at a Glance”:
First, Epcot is definitely the most “adult” theme park in Walt Disney World. When you get to Epcot, pick up a map and “Times Guide” at the entrance, so you can see what shows …read more

Disney Rumor Alert: Is a Russia Pavilion Coming to Epcot?

Disney Rumor Alert: Is a Russia Pavilion Coming to Epcot?

Over a decade ago, there was talk of a Soviet Union pavilion joining the line up in Epcot’s World Showcase. Well, that never did happen, but the newest Disney rumor says that a Russia Pavilion is back on the priority list for Disney. No word on when it will be built or opened, but Jim Hill Media reports that the rumor seems to have some substance.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this develops. I’d love to see a new pavilion at Epcot!

Mother’s Day Brunch at Disney World: Don’t Miss It

Mother’s Day Brunch at Disney World: Don’t Miss It

If you’ll be visiting Walt Disney World or the Orlando, Florida area on Mother’s Day, don’t miss the Mother’s Day Brunch at Epcot.  It’s amazing!  I wrote about it after my family went for the first time last year.  You can read my full review on Mother’s Day Brunch at Epcot.
I just made my reservations for the Mother’s Day Brunch at Epcot’s World Showplace Pavilion, and I can’t wait.  I tried to take pictures last year, but they all turned out too dark to post.  I’m going to try again this year.

Epcot Quick Tip: The Trains at the Germany Pavilion

Epcot Quick Tip: The Trains at the Germany Pavilion

Don’t forget to take some time to see the elaborate train display outside of the Germany pavilion in Walt Disney World’s Epcot. Technically, the train display can be found in between the Germany and Italy pavillions, but it’s considered an extension of the Germany pavilion. You can also buy model trains inside the shops at the Germany pavilion.

Epcot’s American Adventure Movie Updated

Epcot’s American Adventure Movie Updated

The movie inside the America pavillion in Epcot entitled American Adventure is open again after a much-needed overhaul.  I finally had a chance to see the revised movie last weekend, and the changes were minimal.
