Disney Rumor Alert: Is a Russia Pavilion Coming to Epcot?
Over a decade ago, there was talk of a Soviet Union pavilion joining the line up in Epcot’s World Showcase. Well, that never did happen, but the newest Disney rumor says that a Russia Pavilion is back on the priority list for Disney. No word on when it will be built or opened, but Jim Hill Media reports that the rumor seems to have some substance.
I guess we’ll have to wait and see how this develops. I’d love to see a new pavilion at Epcot!

I’ve hoped they would add a country from South America, no country from that whole continent is represented there. Or maybe India.

I agree, Trisha. Several years ago Disney had a temporary exhibit up that included a number of countries from South America and Central America. I’m surprised one of those countries isn’t represented yet.

They don’t have anything about South America or the Amazon at Animal Kingdom park either. I can’t figure out why.

That’s a good point, Trisha. I wonder what the answer is to that, too. I’m going to email Disney and ask. I’ll definitely post a follow up if I hear back from Disney about it.
