Floridians love Crocs. I’m not sure if they are popular in other parts of the country, but everyone wears them in Florida. Men, women, children, everyone wears Crocs. They are particularly popular for guests at Walt Disney World as a comfortable option for long days on your feet at the theme parks.
It’s no secret that Disney makes a lot of money on merchandising movie characters and any other piece of Disney they can. I can’t even count the number of Disney pieces I own between my own collection and my children’s ever-growing piles of toys, stuffed animals, clothes, etc. After years of purchasing Disney memorabilia at the Disney Store and Disney theme parks, I finally learned a way to save money on authentic Disney items.
When I am on vacation, I don’t want to do any work, and to me, carrying anything is work, not to mention inconvenient. This is especially true at Walt Disney World where guests are continuously getting on and off theme park rides. I know from experience that packages are not only cumbersome on most Walt Disney World rides, but they can often be a complete nuisance. For example, trying to fit in a “rocket” on Space Mountain with anything larger than a cell phone is a challenge fit for a contortionist. Of course, I am exaggerating, but only a bit.
