Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom Decorates for Halloween – Part 2

As a follow up to yesterday’s post on The Disney Traveler that showed the first half of the pictures I took this weekend of the Halloween decorations at the Magic Kingdom in Walt Disney World, here is part 2!
As you come through the entrance of the Magic Kingdom and step onto Main Street USA, you’re welcomed by eight giant scarecrows.

The scarecrows are placed in pairs surrounding the flagpole.  I think the one above and below must be the mayor and his wife!

Becoming Members – Pros and Cons of the Disney Vacation Club

Becoming Members – Pros and Cons of the Disney Vacation Club

Disney Dreams Come True Parade – Review in Pictures

Disney Dreams Come True Parade – Review in Pictures

Recently, the Disney Dreams Come True Parade replaced the Share a Dream Come True parade at Walt Disney World’s Magic Kingdom.  This is the daily parade at the Magic Kingdom that is typically held at about 3:00 p.m.  The new parade is extremely similar to the old parade.  It appears that most of the floats are the same with the “snow globes” removed, new dances and a few other small changes.
You can see the Disney Dreams Come True Parade by checking out the pictures below!
First up, Aladdin!

Next, a variety of characters from from the Country Bears, Robin Hood, Brer Rabbit, …read more

American Idol, David Cook and Disney Team Up

Earlier this year, I wrote a post announcing the new Disney American Idol attraction that’s coming to Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Walt Disney World in January 2009.  Today, word is out that American Idol winner David Cook is filming a Disney commercial to help promote the new American Idol attraction in Walt Disney World – the American Idol Experience.
I’m still not sold on this new Disney World attraction.  How about you?
